How We Review
The rules behind these 6 pages: our sources, our checks and our commercial disclosure.
Compare with FxProThe sources behind these pages
The facts here come from documents, not from marketing: the register of Two main bodies: the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC PH) regulates securities, CFDs and investment solicitation; the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is the central bank overseeing FX transactions, leverage and payment systems. The SEC does not currently issue local retail-forex/CFD dealer licences, so most Filipinos trade with offshore-regulated brokers (FCA/ASIC/CySEC). Verify at sec.gov.ph and bsp.gov.ph. first, then COL Financial's own terms and published fees. We link the register we used (pse.com.ph) rather than asking anyone to take our word for a licence. For tax and payment questions we use the authorities' own publications (sec.gov.ph).
How we are funded
Some links on this site are partner links: if a reader opens an account through one, we may be paid a commission at no additional cost to them. Nothing here is financial advice, and we are not affiliated with COL Financial. Commission never changes what a page says. We have no paid placements and no sponsored verdicts.
Keeping pages current
Trading conditions drift, so each page carries the date it was last checked; our source material for Philippines was last refreshed on 2026-07-07. We update the page and its date together. Manipulating publication dates is the opposite of what dates are for.
How a fact gets onto the page
If we cannot say where a number came from, it does not get published. Where a figure cannot be confirmed we omit it; we do not round, average or infer it. We read the Philippines version of the conditions: entity, licence and limits change from one country to the next.
The limits of this data
These pages describe conditions as they were when we checked them for Philippines; a broker can change a spread, a fee or an entity without notice. Check the licence for your own country before depositing: the company behind a global brand differs by market.
Who is behind this site
There are no personal bylines here: one desk writes, checks and updates the pages, and it answers for all of them. Drafting and translation are assisted by AI; the sources, the figures and the verdict are checked by a human editor before publication.
